Our Romania trip comes to an end

Here are some more pictures of our last days in Romania.

First Stop........Caves
When men fought in frequent wars, women and children would hide in the caves....So the caves became known as Women's Caves.
As you can imagine it was dark in the caves, so the pictures didn't turn out the best.

Ducking didn't help me that much, because somehow I managed to smash  my head....Go figure!

View after exiting the cave.
Brent......being Brent.
Kayli, finding her own cave.

Next, Castle Bran.....better known as Dracula's Castle.
Castle Bran was a wooden castle built in 1212 at the mountains entrance for which traders traveled through. It was destroyed and then rebuilt in stone and became a customs post in 1377. It was then home to Queen Marie in 1920.  Currently, the castle is a museum dedicated to the history of the surrounding area and memory of Queen Marie and her family.

Final stop.....Castle Peles.
Castle Peles construction began in 1873 and was finished in 1914 and was home to King Carol I of Romania. Construction cost approximately $120 million.
